How ACH Payment Processing Works
Why we settle exclusively over ACH, how the network routes funds, and what to expect on payout timing.
ACH — the Automated Clearing House — is the network that moves money directly between bank accounts in the United States. We settle exclusively over ACH because it is reliable, low-cost and well suited to recurring business payouts.
How a payout reaches you
When funds are ready, they are batched and routed through the ACH network to your settlement account. Because ACH processes in batches rather than instantly, payouts typically clear within a few business days rather than in real time.
Region-based routing
Your billing country determines which ACH route we use to settle your funds:
- United States — US ACH processing.
- United Kingdom — UK ACH processing.
- Australia — AU ACH processing.
- Other regions are settled via our international ACH partners.
Why ACH, not cards?
Card rails carry higher fees and more chargeback friction. ACH keeps settlement predictable and economical, which is why every Xeloraco payout flows through it. Your emailed invoice always includes the exact bank instructions for your route.
